Mick Jessop has put an all time tipping performance together to jump into second on the leaderboard after going large on Cox Plate day. Mick had $100 each on VIA SISTINA ($5.92 BSP) in the Cox Plate, PROST ($10.05) in the Callander-Presnell and BELCLARE ($34) in the Invitation. He profited a massive $4497 for the round! Which may be some sort of record (I would have to check). I hope he had a small Canadian on all his tips. The ever consistent Law returned $1385 for the round with also with $100 on PROST and $100 on IKNOWASTAR ($8.80) in the Five Diamonds Prelude. Wardy took third on $945.
24 tipsters had a shocker and copped -$500!
The overall leaderboard has really tightened up with Mick jumping into 2nd on $2291, closing the gap on Merc (yours truly) on $2629.50. Brock remains in third on $1648.80.
Killa continues to lead the Captain Consistency on 6 points, with a chasing pack of FARCANAL, Nato, Brock and Merc on 5.
There are still four rounds to go and 16 races to tip! Anyone can still win, as Mick as shown this week. It only takes one big round be in contention. The Cup Week Hero award also begins this week – the highest profit across all races from Derby Day to Stakes Day (13 races).
